When it feels like too much to handle on your own.

If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unable to process what’s happening, you don’t have to go through this on your own.

These one-to-one sessions give you a space to talk things through and get real support.

You might feel like your thoughts won’t slow down.

You keep going over decisions, replaying moments, or questioning whether you did the right thing.

Some days feel manageable, and others feel completely overwhelming. You might feel anxious, exhausted, or not quite like yourself.

Pet loss and anticipatory grief can affect you in ways you didn’t expect.

You’re not doing anything wrong.

What these sessions are:

These sessions are a space for you to talk openly about your experience, without feeling judged or dismissed.

We work through what you’re feeling and use practical techniques to help:

  • calm your nervous system

  • reduce overwhelming thoughts

  • process what’s happened

  • feel more in control day to day

Over time, this work helps you feel more stable and able to cope day to day.

The constant thoughts begin to settle. The anxiety becomes more manageable. You’re able to process what’s happened without feeling stuck in it.

What happens in a session

Each session is calm, structured, and focused on what you need.

We start by understanding what you’re currently experiencing.

From there, we work through it together using a combination of:

Conversation

We focus on what’s coming up for you right now, whether that’s anxiety, guilt, difficult decisions, or feeling stuck.

Practical tools

You’ll learn simple techniques to help you manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions outside of the session.

Hypnotherapy & CBT

Where appropriate, we may use hypnotherapy or CBT to help calm your nervous system and reduce the intensity of what you’re feeling.

This approach means you’re supported both during the session and in the moments in between.

“You understood my issue and made me feel safe.”

I now have a new found confidence. Your knowledge, expertise and professionalism, along with your kindness and soothing voice has made our sessions a joy.

Sophie

Hey, I’m Emma.

I’m a trained clinical hypnotherapist with a diploma in pet loss counselling.

I’ve supported people through both anticipatory grief and the aftermath of loss, and I’ve seen how overwhelming and isolating this can feel.

My focus is on providing practical, grounded support so you don’t have to navigate this on your own.

You don’t have to figure this out on your own

We’ll talk through what you’re dealing with and see if this feels like the right support for you.
